Sorry it turned out so small, but hope you can read it if you need some sugar FREEing inspirations! I certainly do. But let me say that I FEEL so much better physically that I don't WANT to eat white flour and sugar~period. Like I don't eat pork either. When a food makes you feel so rotten, you have no trouble giving it up~but it's a mind game about the sugar, b/c since I've given it up, I don't miss it~MOST of the time...and less sweet tastes plenty sweet to me.
Here's my week:
Fri~YMCA water exercises
Saturday~Stretching and moving.
Sunday~Nothing. DAY of REST ;-))
Monday~Stretching and exercising at home.
Tuesday~Water aerobics at the YMCA
Wednesday~Stretching at home~
Thursday~In with a tummy ache~(NO MO sugar free candy for me!)
Friday~YMCA swimming and workout.
Head over HERE to ck out the Fit Mommys!

I love it when great minds think alike ; )
I gave up sugar on Jan 5 and haven't had any in over 21 days!! woot! ; ) Feel much MUCH better. I gave it up to learn to love God more than I love food... currently studying through Breaking Free by B. Moore and Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst. Anyway... I digress...
Here's an incredible sugar-free recipe that I adapted from a bloggers recipe...
1-2 t. baking cocoa
2-3 t. stevia or raw sugar
mix together in 12 oz of hot water and top off with a little milk. So yummy!
I'll be praying for you on your sugar free journey. ; )
Thanks so much Heidi~I can use all the prayers I can get~I love that recipe, but I use Splenda in it for my hot coco~YUMMY too! Thanks again~hugs!!!
Great week! I can't eat very much sugar free candy for the same reason. I just make my own sweets if I want them. Homemade sugar free sweets are healthier anyway.
I wish I could go swimming! I might have to check into that option.
Sounds like a great week to me! Good job, especially on the cutting out sugar part. :-)
SEVENTEEN WEEKS! - absolutely AWEsome!
You are pushing on, even when you don't feel like it and I'm proud of you!
I made myself get up and exercise last Friday night after reading your post and I felt so much better. I knew I would, but just didn't have the gumption.
Have a great week!
You are so awesome! I don't know how you can cut out sugar!! You must have some willpower...please pass some to me! I wish all us Fit Friday Mommies lived near eachother because I so want a workout buddy! Hope you have another great week.
you are doing awesome. I am also on my weightloss journey. I've been hearing about this fit mommy blog so I will go check it out. I would love encouragement. I've lost 14lbs so far. I am half way to my goal.. keep up the great work..
17 weeks is amazing. Great job!
And don't worry about that ice and snow; it'll be gone in less than two months, and by then you'll be any number of pounds lighter and will have enough energy to really enjoy the good weather.
Blessings,
Annie Kate
