Blog Help~Thinking About THINKING...and Blogging...

With so many blogs and so many blog friends available, what would a simple blogger like me have to do to find a community of readers that I can meet their needs and in the process HAVE A GREAT BLOG?

I am giving this question some snaptic power and considering a few things~

1.  Not everyone will *like* me and follow~nor will I, but the effort is well worth the prize of more friends who follow and comment~YEAH!

2.  There's limited time~I have made it may goal to follow my friends who comment and follow ME~but I realize it's not reciprocated sometimes~OH WELL...I love my friends~and maybe there are reasons...

Like~they're busy, tired, not into blogging right now, not interested in what I'm saying, not taking the time, or just flat out didn't think about it~but whatever, following behind comments and getting to know readers is GREAT networking and blog boosting...

3.  Blog tastes are different. I've fallen in LUV with quite  a few blogs; some I would like a separate follow designation like: The BEST of THE BEST so I can keep THOSE closeby~but you can bet your bottom dollar that SisterT will stop and read those blogs that catch her eye...and all readers are like this...Soo

4 The GREATEST blog boosting strategy has GOT TO BE good content...readers LUV what appeals to them...and I'm no different.  Soo blog hopping is like blog shopping~find a jewel? I like to add them to my sidebars for you all to read...share with you what I am reading and loving...Your comments give me hints on what you like and what you are thinking~I LOVE these~Please keep talking to me ;-))

5. I'd like to suggest following  Brent Riggs of Linky Tools who has several really good articles in his site Building a Better Blog. Isn't that what we all hope to do?  The above link will take you to an article on increasing traffic, readers and loyalty.  You won't go wrong to follow Brent.  He has several sites and offerings including a digital inspirational magazine, Serious Life Magazine...Go ck them out!

Thanks for reading my thinking today~and I'd deeply appreciate your reflections on my blog or any other helpful/encouraging thought you have for me~Have a blessed day! HUGS!

FREE: Blog Improvement Stuff: Blog Button Making Instructions

eHow really has some cool stuff, and Here's where they show us how to make a button~did you see mine on the right? It's my first BRAND NEW button~will you share it with others? Let me know you did~thanks ;-))  (IF you prefer to share site feed, grab that widget box scrolling button on the left)~THANKS!

I just realized something~There are no instructions for making the button itself.  Ha~you can't link nothing to make a button, right? So we need to make a pretty button to represent your blog.  I am NOT the most well-versed, but what I did was used my header (THAT I MADE) and had saved to My Pictures on my hard drive and uploaded it to Picnik (dot) Com  and then edited it to look like it does.  I'm not completely happy with it~a little small and could improve upon the graphics, but HEY, it's up right NOW and I can improve it in short order~now that it's up!

Seriously, go ahead and upload a pic you want to make your button.  Resize it to button size. The eHow article says 125x125 which is the size of mine, but I think it's a tad on the small size...sooo like I said, I'm going to remake it at some point.

Once you are happy with your "button" then save it again back to your hard drive and be sure to put "button" on the title so you know it's just that~save it and then upload it to a photo sharing website such as photobucket.  I have a photobucket account and did this~got the code to share and THEN went to the eHOW article to make the button.  Sorry it got lengthy, but you NEEDED a button before you can link it~ha!

HINT: I like to open multiple windows and move back and forth. To be sure I had the code correct, I used dual windows open at the same time!

Happy Blogging!
